The Comeback Academy Youth Program is a 10-week, cohort-based experience designed for students ages 14–17 who are navigating academic disruption, alternative learning environments, or major life transitions.
The program provides a structured, supportive setting where students build academic confidence, life skills, and future readiness. Through guided instruction, mentorship, and exposure to new environments, participants learn how to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
Week 1: Identity, Mindset & Goal Setting
Understanding personal strengths, setbacks, and future goals.
Week 2: Learning How to Learn
Memory techniques, study systems, reading strategies, and note-taking.
Week 3: Routine, Discipline & Time Management
Building daily structure and accountability.
Week 4: Academic Confidence & Communication
Asking for help, advocating for oneself, and presenting ideas clearly.
Week 5: Career Exploration & Pathways
College, skilled trades, military, and workforce exposure.
Week 6: Financial Literacy & Life Skills
Budgeting, banking, and practical independence.
Week 7: Community, Service & Belonging
Understanding community roles and civic engagement.
Week 8: Decision-Making & Consequences
Cause-and-effect thinking, responsibility, and maturity.
Week 9: Capstone Preparation
Professional readiness, goal alignment, and transition planning.
Week 10: Capstone Trek & Reflection
Exposure to businesses, institutions, and cultural experiences in a new city.
Students who complete the program become Comeback Kids, joining an alumni community focused on continued growth and mentorship.
